Content Strategy

Content strategy is the art of creating a structure for generating content and a framework for displaying that content in place, according to set goals. In short, it’s the roadmap or blueprint that comes before the words are written, images taken, film shot, or animations drawn.

  • What sort of content will your customers engage with?
  • How many pages should your site be?
  • How often should your blog be updated? Who will update it? Should you allow comments?

These are all vital questions to consider in your project at an early stage.

What is content strategy, and is a copywriter the best person to define it?

I can help by producing a variety of reports, work on information architecture (the way your site is structured), and produce a roadmap to ensure a steady stream of content is produced to keep your site up-to-date, as well as producing the actual content: words, pages, posts, and articles to keep your customers informed and entertained.

I can also help by project managing web builds and co-ordinating content strategy, information architecture, content generation and CMS management at development stage.
