My biggest challenge was convincing people why they need a 12k summerhouse as opposed to one they can get for a fraction of that in Argos, and the trick was to find the &#039;nub&#039; - well, for starters it&#039;s *not* something you can get from Argos, and it&#039;s built for you etc. etc. Things like that. 
Still being new to this game (3 years), I&#039;m still learning about how to cut to the essence of what sells, especially for big-ticket items, but the &#039;Radio WIIFM&#039; (What&#039;s In It For Me?) that Andy Maslen talks about in Write To Sell, and asking &#039;so what?&#039; from my copy has helped train my focus.
